A co-working space for the beauty industry, where hairdressers and make-up artists work, create and keep each other sharp.

The idea

The brief started with one line: from backstage to frontstage. The mood of an exclusive backstage, with its mirrors, its anticipation, its shared prep, became the language for the whole building, across both floors.

I took the world behind the curtain as the reference, but left the roughness out of it. Every surface is finished with a deliberate, considered hand: the energy of backstage, the composure of a showroom.

Outcome

Two floors that carry a full working day: focused work in the morning, conversation over lunch, and by the afternoon, a room to present in.
