A double-height reading room wrapped in walnut, warm light and quiet rhythm — architecture built for slow attention.
Concept
The design began with the books: their scale, their colour, the silence they ask for. From there came the wood, the plinths, the light.
Every vertical surface was tuned to hold either a volume or a shadow. Nothing competes with the act of sitting down and opening a book.
